Form 2022 we have introduced the Image Evaluation System, where all the images are being evaluated by two panels of Jurors. After the scoring, the ranking is obtained and Hon’ble Juror meet all the club members in an interactive session on the evaluation of all the images.
Year 2020 was a nightmare to the world. We were locked inside our residence. No world has been found for a long long time. But we never stopped our activities like our intra-club contest. Year 2021 gave some fresh air, but activities of photography didn’t came under normalcy for almost ten months. Still we continued our contest programme. And this the first time, we introduced a contest on series of four images on a particular theme of authors’ choices. This album presents winning images of all the contests held in 2021.
This year is tremendous for all of us..everything is locked. We can’t even see each other with a real face. Still our intra-club contests are on. Judging are done online but eminent juries made is easy and perfect. We are to go for two more contests. Let us pray , the situation will be restored by this time.
We organised four quarterly contests in in 2019. We started the programme in 2018. Since then we organised eight such contests in two years. In each contest we confer awards to best three images and on the basis of points acquired throughout the year, we select best of three for the respective year. Among four such contests, one is held as print contests. So far as eminent artists took the chair of judges like, Amitabha Sil, Tapan Kumar Das, Swapan Mukherjee, Subrata Bysack,, Dipankar Dasgupta, Sanat Kumar Das, Koshal Basu, Saibal Mondal, Manash Das, Suvojit Biswas, Pinki Ghosh Guha
In 2018, we started Contest among members in each quarter of the year. Four such contests were held and all were featured on Open Digital Section
