He had developed interest in photography after joining College Photography Club while pursuing BTech. During early days of his professional engagement he had completed the Basic Course in Photography from Chhayapath, Calcutta in the year 1988. But due to professional hazards he couldn’t continue serious photography on a regular basis. Only after retirement from his organization, took up photography seriously in the year 2020. Thereafter joined South Kolkata Photography Club in the year 2022. He has achieved both AFIP and AFIAP distinctions in the year 2023.
