EASEL 2020 : 5th Members’ Exhibition of Photography
Easel 2020 was staged at a crucial time when the entire world witnessed the deadly outbreak of Covid-19 and all of us witnessed a long duration of lock down period, affected our society, our economy and also the world of art.
We have decided to go for the programme when lock down protocol was lifted. So we staged Easel 2020 during 4th to 6th December 2020.
One of senior most photo artists Sri Tapan Kumar Das inaugurated the exhibition.
Life time felicitation was conferred on Sri Madhu Sarkar , one of the greatest photo artists of our time.
Honorary membership was given to Sri Subrata Bysack and Sri Sanat Kumar Das.
Certificates were given to successful candidates of 2nd batch of digital photography. The members who have completed distinctions of FIAP, PSA and FIP, were also felicitated.
A total of 85 images of 25 members were displayed including a series of Sanat Kumar Das on Kolkata Lock down.
